I interviewed Bill a few years ago for my website: www.soulsandsounds.com about what he was doing for the Celtic FC supporters in Fresno/Clovis (I was living there at the time now in Sacramento w/my husband James). In '06 we also went to the Rod Stewart concert at Save Mart Center with him! Wow...well, all I can say is he certainly will be missed. Our condolences go out to Bill's family. You will be in our prayers.

We are members of the Port Glasgow Hibernian Celtic Club and Bill was keen to find out stories from his home town.

| | Date: | 7/30/2007 9:04:46 PM | | Subject: | Thank you for letting me feel part of your family | | | So many memories from Bill that will last with me forever. I was a co-worker of Bill's at Wine Warehouse where I first met him in January of 2002. I can remember that day as if it was just yesterday. It was like I met my Footballing angel here on earth. Because of his love for Celtic and football, Bill and I hit if off right from the get go about Celtic, Football, the U.K. and Ireland. I never in my dreams imagined that I would one day get to see Celtic play in person, and I did it twice because of Bill. The first time in Seattle, WA in July of 2003 and again just this year in February of 2007 at Celtic Park, or what I always heard from Bill say Paradise. It was indeed Paradise just w/o the weather. If it was not for Bill and his wonderful family, I would never have had the greatest holiday of my life. I like to first of all think Liz for letting Bill go with me to the U.K. I would like to think Chris and Sharon for letting me stay at their home. You all mean the world to me. You are all like my family. It has been such a hard last couple of months for me to deal with the loss of Bill. I have no one to talk to on the phone anymore about Football like I used to with Bill. We talked every week about the previous game. It was so funny to listem to him rant about the managers and some of the players.
I will always remember you Bill. Hail Hail | | | | | |
